What to Prepare Before Launching a New Website

Launching a website is exciting, but many problems appear on launch day. Broken links, missing pages and slow loading can hurt your first impression. A short checklist helps you launch with confidence.

Content is ready

Make sure every page has final text, images, contact details and calls to action. Check spelling and make sure your services, prices and offers are correct.

SEO basics are set

Add a unique title and meta description to every page. Set up clean URLs, a sitemap and proper heading structure. Check that images have descriptive alt text.

Forms and buttons work

Test every form, button and link on desktop and mobile. Send a test message to confirm that you receive it. A broken contact form means lost leads.

Speed and mobile layout are tested

Check loading speed and layout on several phone sizes. Compress large images and remove code you do not use.

Analytics and tracking are installed

Set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console before launch. Tracking from day one gives you clear data about visitors and search performance.

Backups and a rollback plan

Keep a copy of your old site and your database. If something goes wrong, you can restore quickly.

After launch

Check the live site, submit your sitemap, and review your analytics after one week. Fix any issues quickly and keep improving content over time.
